This price does not include any veterinary costs or the boarding fee for the mare and her foal by foot, if any.
From the above mentioned stud fee, £100.00 has to be paid at the time of booking the stallion. In case of cancellation of the intended covering, this payment will not be refunded unless the mare’s owner shows proof of a (generally accepted) valid reason for this cancellation.
The remaining part of the stud fee needs to have been paid at the time of the mare’s arrival at Pithill Paddock.

The undersigned states that the above mentioned mare is in good health. Pithill Paddock’s Miniature Horses reserves the right to refuse a mare, which herself or her foal by foot, if any, appears to be in any other than good health or condition.
The mare to be covered has to be at least 3 years old.
The undersigned states that the mare has been vaccinated against tetanus and influenza at the appropriate points of time, and that these vaccinations are not due for renewal upon the mare’s arrival at Pithill Paddock. Official proof of full vaccination of the mare against tetanus/influenza has to be shown.
The mare must have been swabbed prior to arrival at Pithill Paddock and hold a clean bill of Health.
Pithill Paddock’s Miniature Horses asks the mare’s owner to hand in a copy of the mare’s horse-passport upon arrival.
The undersigned gives Pithill Paddock’s Miniature Horses permission to de-worm the mare upon arrival at the farm with Equi Max or similar product.
Boarding fee for the mare at Pithill Paddock is £7.00 per day. For this amount, the mare, together with her foal by foot, if any, will get a pasture of her own with a shelter. Further, she will get as much grass and hay as she needs and feed twice a day if required.
Any veterinary costs regarding the mare during her stay at Pithill Paddock, such as, for instance, an ultrasound, are to be paid by the owner of the mare.
In case of illness or an accident of the mare and/or her foal by foot, if any, Pithill Paddock’s Miniature Horses reserves the right to call in veterinary help - any costs of which are to be paid by the owner of the mare.
The mare’s owner will be held will be held responsible for any damage caused by her or his animal(s).
During their stay at Pithill Paddock, we will take care of the animal(s) entrusted to us with the utmost love and attention. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damage during breeding, taking them to the pasture or otherwise, in case of illness, accident or death of the mare and/or her foal by foot, if any.
Should the mare not get in foal during this breeding season, the owner has the right to return for a re-breeding in the next breeding season. For this re-breeding, no stud fee will have to be paid. The mare’s boarding fee and any veterinary costs will be charged to the mare’s owner, however. This re-breeding is non-recurrent.
